Tennise Lucas

Tennise Lucas has a Bachelor of University Studies from Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell. She received her New Mexico teacher’s certification from ENMU-Portales. Currently, Tennise is completing a Master of Technology in Education from Leslie University, Cambridge, Mass. Tennise became a member of the Texas Association Teachers of Dance in 2005 and is certified in the discipline of Tap.

Tennise is Director of the Irish program at the Studio+. She teaches Tap and Irish from beginning to advanced levels. She also assists in the administration of the studio. Tennise received more than 15 years formal dance training from the Alcorn Academy of Dance and Miss Minnie’s School of Ballet. Additionally, she has studied under Master instructors such as Keith Clifton, Jay Fagan, and Rhonda Miller at the Texas Association of Dance. Prior to joining The Studio+ staff 4 years ago, she taught 2 years at Miss Minnie’s School of Ballet.

She and her husband, Carl, have two children, Echo, 9 and Tristan, 10.
